OVERVIEW
CAMPAIGN SNAPSHOT
This beauty tech brand sells LED skincare devices online, and came to us in October 2024 with a strong product line but a search presence that leaned almost entirely on people who already knew the brand. Over the following nine months, we grew organic revenue to $347,070 (+41%), lifted Domain Rating from 22 to 45, and opened up a genuinely new revenue line: over $26,000 in sales sourced from AI-driven search platforms that didn't exist as a channel a year earlier.

HOW WE GOT HERE
1. Rebuilding Authority From the Ground Up
The brand had real products but a thin backlink profile, which capped its non-branded search visibility before it could even compete. We ran a targeted link acquisition strategy that took Domain Rating from 22 to 45 — a +105% increase in under a year — and that authority shift did something unexpected: it started pulling the brand into Google's AI Overviews, ahead of listings that had outranked it for years.
2. Writing for Search Engines and Language Models at Once
We built out a library of research-driven, commercial-intent content aimed at customers who'd never heard of the brand — people actively comparing LED skincare devices, not typing the brand name into Google. Content was structured to be equally readable by search crawlers and by the LLMs now powering Bing AI, Perplexity and ChatGPT search. One flagship article ranked in just two days and now brings in roughly 1,300 organic visits a month on its own; most new content was ranking within 30 days.
3. Technical and On-Page Cleanup
Alongside content and links, we tightened up internal linking, schema markup and category/product page structure, and improved site speed and on-page experience — the unglamorous work that decides whether the traffic content earns actually converts.
4. The Payoff
SEO traffic grew 26% (62,700 → 79,017 sessions), with the growth concentrated in non-branded search — new customers discovering the brand for the first time, not existing ones returning. SEO revenue rose 41% to $347,070 and is now one of the brand's largest channels, contributing 16.5% of total purchases. Most notably, AI search assistants began citing the brand's products and guides directly in their answers, generating over $26,000 in incremental sales with zero paid spend — a channel that returned nothing the year before.
